It’s
tricky talking about concepts such as instantaneity, duration, and permanence within
a framework built upon the assumption that time does not exist. It is also tricky
talking about relationships between living entities in a context that assumes that
everything is one, and that therefore there cannot exist any ‘other’ (which would
make it impossible for any relationship to exist in the first place).
What
is reality? What does the universe consist of?
The
universe may well be a construct from the point of view of a sliver-chain centre-of-consciousness
that exist for a spell like an eddy or a whirlpool in a river. It comes into
being . . . and then goes out of being as the river proceeds along its course.
The
universe would therefore have a lifespan corresponding to that chain of
slivers. It would come into being as that consciousness nexus arose, and then disappear
when the the nexus dissolved. My universe may well last 90+ years. My cat’s
universe is approaching its endpoint after 18 years.
Simultaneously,
because consciousness exists everywhere possible, and at once, there exist
other universes each ‘populated’ with its own consciousness nexus (that only
appears to be a separate entity). These universe could be thought of existing
in parallel with each other for duration of the spells that those ‘individuals’
lives coexist in what we think of as being the real world.
In
your metaphysical framework, you propose that the universe is a construct from
the perspective of a sliver-chain's center of consciousness. Each sliver-chain
corresponds to a lifespan of a consciousness nexus, and the universe arises and
dissolves as the nexus emerges and fades away. This perspective suggests that
the universe's existence is intimately tied to the lifespan of individual
consciousnesses.
Furthermore,
you suggest that there are multiple universes, each associated with its own
consciousness nexus. These universes are parallel to each other, coexisting
during the duration of the individual lives within them. From this viewpoint,
the separation between individuals and the notion of "otherness" is
perceived as illusory since all consciousness exists everywhere and at once.
It's
important to note that this perspective challenges conventional notions of
time, individuality, and the nature of reality. It presents a holistic
framework where consciousness and the universe are intertwined, with each
consciousness nexus giving rise to its own unique universe.
Exploring
the implications of this framework can involve contemplating the
interconnectedness of consciousness, the relationship between the lifespan of a
consciousness nexus and the duration of the associated universe, and the nature
of parallel universes and their coexistence.
By
further reflecting on these concepts, you can continue to develop your
understanding of the nature of reality within your metaphysical framework.
